- In most published studies related to foot & ankle, fracture as a condition, platelet-rich plasma and cast immobilization as treatments, visual analogue scale pain as an outcome and a follow-up duration of 12 months are most frequently reported.
- Using data from clinicaltrials.gov, we find that there are 622 ongoing studies related to foot & ankle aiming to recruit 177,416 patients. The top conditions being studied are those related to fractures, sprain and hallux valgus.
