Synopsis
121 patients (125 hands; 166 rays) with Dupuytren's disease were randomised to undergo either percutaneous needle fasciotomy (PNF) or limited fasciotomy (LF) treatment. The primary outcome was total passive extension deficit (TPED). Results at the 6-week follow-up indicated that the PNF procedure was less effective as a treatment overall, producing a smaller reduction in TPED when compared to LF. ...
