Synopsis
143 patients were randomized to receive either procedural sedation and analgesia (PSA), or an ultrasound-guided hematoma block (US-HB) to manage pain in the reduction of an acute distal radial fracture. The goal of this study was to determine the efficacy and safety of US-HB in comparison to PSA.
