Synopsis
79 patients (101 hands) who required treatment of idiopathic carpal tunnel syndrome were randomized to receive either endoscopic (ECTR) or palmar incision open carpal tunnel release (OCTR) to determine the effects of Okutsu-method ECTR on postoperative outcome.
