Synopsis
Ninety-six patients with multilevel lumbar central spinal stenosis (LCSS) and lateral recess stenosis (LRS) were randomized to receive either total laminectomy with posterior spinal fusion (LF) (n=48) or microscopic bilateral laminotomy (n=48).
