Synopsis
Forty patients with mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome were randomized to receive either radial extracorporeal shock wave therapy (R-ESWT) with a local corticosteroid injection (n=20) or sham-R-ESWT with local corticosteroid injection (n=20).
