Synopsis
30 women with radiologically confirmed mild or moderate knee osteoarthritis (defined as a score of >=2 on the Kellgren and Lawrence (K-L) scale) were randomly assigned to receive Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES) treatments 3 times per week for 4 weeks or no treatment.
