Synopsis
Two randomized control trials, with a combined 2206 patients, studied the effects of salmon calcitonin (sCT) in patients with symptomatic knee osteoarthritis. Changes in joint space width, pain, function, and safety were evaluated over a 24 month period after treatment began.
