Synopsis

106 patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty were randomized to receive either a 30mg/kg bolus dose of tranexamic acid (TXA), or 10mg/kg dose TXA plus 2mg/kg/h continuous infusion postoperatively for 20 hours.
