Synopsis
Fifty-eight patients with medial compartment knee osteoarthritis were randomized to use either lateral wedge insoles or neutral insoles for a period of 24 weeks. The purpose of the study was to assess whether the use of lateral wedge insoles decreased pain and improved function in patients with medial knee osteoarthritis compared to patients treated with neutral insoles.
