Synopsis
100 patients undergoing arthroscopic rotator cuff repair were randomized to one of two postoperative protocols - early passive motion or immobilization for 6 weeks. Minimum follow-up on functional outcome was scheduled for 12 months, and patients underwent a minimum 6 month follow-up on Arthro-CT to assess tendon healing.
