Synopsis

49 subjects (>50 yr old) with knee osteoarthritis (OA) were randomly assigned to participate in the target matching foot stepping exercise (TMFSE) while sitting, or to no intervention for 6 weeks. TMFSE demonstrated beneficial effects in improving function and walking velocities in patients with mild to moderate knee OA.
