Synopsis
40 patients scheduled for total hip arthroplasty (THA) were randomly assigned into 1 of 2 groups to test two different stem designs; QUADRA and AMIS. The results of the study indicated that both stem designs significantly improved clinical scores (HHS and HAAS) by final follow up, and revealed no significant difference between them regarding clinical outcomes at any time point.
