Synopsis
107 patients with an isolated femoral neck fracture were randomly assigned into 1 of 2 groups to compare the effectiveness of fascia iliaca compartment block to femoral nerve block. Results demonstrated that patients who received femoral nerve block experienced less pain 12 hours after treatment completion than those in the fascia iliaca compartment block group.
