Synopsis

40 patients (61 feet) diagnosed with idiopathic congenital talipes equinovarus (CTEV) were randomized to receive the standard Ponseti treatment or an accelerated version of the Ponseti treatment. The results of this study indicate that both treatment methods produced similar outcomes in terms of the correction of CTEV.
