Synopsis
This study randomized 72 patients with thoracolumbar burst fractures to be treated with or without thoracolumbosacral orthosis (TLSO) to compare their functional outcomes. The one year follow-up revealed that there were no significant differences between both groups regarding disability, pain, function, health-related quality of life, sagittal alignment, length of hospital stay, or complications. ...
