Synopsis
90 patients were randomized to examine which method of ACL reconstruction, double or single bundle, is the most suitable in treating ACL ruptures. Patients received either double-bundle ACL reconstruction with bioabsorbable screw fixation, or single-bundle ACL reconstruction with bioabsorbable screw fixation, or single-bundle ACL reconstruction with metallic screw fixation.
