Synopsis

52 patients suffering from lateral epicondylosis were organized to perform a grip-strength task with 4 orthoses (3 actual orthoses, 1 placebo), tested in a randomly determined order. This study compared the immediate effects of three commonly used orthoses on pain-free grip-strength in this population.
