Synopsis
197 patients (210 knees) undergoing total knee arthroplasty (TKA) were randomized to receive an established fixed-bearing posterior-stabilized prosthesis or a meniscal-bearing prosthesis. Over an average of 36 months, the fixed-bearing group demonstrated a significantly higher maximum flexion compared to the meniscal-bearing group.
