Synopsis
51 patients with osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis were randomized to receive total knee replacement (TKR) with either all-polyethylene or metal-backed tibial implants. Over 2 years, radiostereophotogrammetric analysis indicated that there was no difference between the two groups in the migration of prostheses.
