Synopsis

60 adults with medial compartment osteoarthritis, 6 weeks after undergoing partial knee replacement (PKR), were randomized to receive either kneeling advice and education or routine care, where no specific kneeling advice was provided. Results from the study indicated that physical therapy kneeling advice and education significantly improved patient-reported kneeling ability 1 year after surgery.
