Synopsis

Two hundred thirty-eight patients with primary TKA who achieved ≥90° flexion at 2 weeks were randomized to home exercise programs (HEP) (n=119) or formal Physical Therapy (PT) (n=119). The primary outcome was knee flexion ROM; secondary outcomes included ED visits/complications and a cost estimate.
