Synopsis
One hundred and eighty patients over 40 with adhesive capsulitis were randomized to receive arthrographic distension with manipulation therapy (n=90) or arthrographic distension only (n=90). Outcomes of interest included the shoulder-specific disability measure (SPADI), pain on a Visual Analog Scale (VAS), range of motion, and Constant-Murley scores.
