Synopsis
Fifty-two participants with symptomatic mid-portion Achilles tendinopathy were randomized to receive a 12-week rehabilitation program, with additional intramuscular stimulation (IMS) (n=25), with sham intramuscular stimulation (n=19), or alone (n=8).
