Synopsis

60 patients with Kellgren-Lawrence grade I-II knee osteoarthritis were randomized to treatment with either intraarticular hyaluronic acid or oral hyaluronic acid. Patients allocated to IAHA were administered three weekly injection, and patients allocated to oral HA were given daily tablets to take for 40 days.
