Synopsis
142 knees, in 84 patients, with moderate severity osteoarthritis were randomized to intraarticular injection of either platelet-rich plasma or hyaluronic acid. Patients were assessed over 12- and 24-week follow-up for results on the Knee Society Score and a visual analog scale for pain.
