Synopsis

65 patients scheduled for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction were randomized to undergo the procedure with either a patellar tendon autograft or hamstring tendon autograft. Clinical outcome measures and knee laxity were assessed at 15 years postoperatively. No statistically significant differences between groups were observed for any outcome measured.
