Synopsis
13 studies, including 8 randomized control trials (RCTs) and 5 non-randomized control trials (NRCTs), comparing vertebral augmentation and conservative techniques for the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures were included for analysis. Pooled analysis found no significant difference in the risk of secondary fractures between the groups.
