Synopsis
30 patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty were randomized to one of three groups for antibiotic prophylaxis: 1g intravenous (IV) vancomycin, 250mg intraosseous regional administration (IORA) vancomycin, and 500mg IORA vancomycin.
