Synopsis
60 patients scheduled for unilateral total knee arthroplasty (TKA) for OA were randomized to either the high flexion version of the NexGen legacy posterior stabilized total knee replacement or to a standard version. At 1 year, no significant differences in the outcomes, including the maximum knee flexion were observed between patients receiving the standard and high flexion implant designs.
