Synopsis
60 patients undergoing surgery for single-level lumbar disc herniation were randomized to spinal anaesthesia using either bupivacaine or levobupivacaine. The purpose was to compare the two local anaesthetic solutions with respect to efficacy in sensory and motor blockade.
