46 patients scheduled for anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction were randomized to undergo surgery using either the all-inside technique or conventional technique. The purpose was to compare postoperative pain between the two techniques at 1 month following surgery, and measures of radiographic and functional outcome at 6 months.
