Synopsis

Twenty female patients (n=40 feet) with bilateral hallux valgus were randomized to undergo Scarf osteotomy on one foot and SERI (Simple, Effective, Rapid, Inexpensive) distal metatarsal osteotomy on the other, to compare which surgical procedure provided better long-term outcomes .
