Synopsis

313 adults with chronic or recurrent low back pain were randomized to either take part in a 3 month yoga program or receive usual care. Following assessments measured over 12 months, patients in the yoga group experienced improved back function scores, but similar back pain levels and general health scores to those who received usual care.
