OE EXCLUSIVE

Dr. Frobell discusses early versus delayed reconstruction of acute anterior cruciate ligament tears.

Synopsis

121 young, active adults with acute anterior cruciate ligament tears were assigned to either rehabilitation with early ACL reconstruction surgery or a rehabilitation program with the option of delayed ACL reconstruction. After 5 years, no differences were found in patient reported and radiographic arthritis outcomes between the two groups.
