Synopsis
19 orthopaedic residents with experience in routine knee arthroscopy, but none in arthroscopic meniscal repair, performed 12 meniscal repairs on a knee simulator over a 3 week period in order to gain experience. The residents were then randomized to perform either one meniscal repair every month, one meniscal repair every 3 months, or no meniscal repairs over the course of the study. 6 months afte...
