Synopsis
101 patients with hip osteoarthritis were randomized to receive one of three intra-articular treatments guided by ultrasound. The patients received either an intervention of hyaluronic acid (HA), a corticosteroid intervention, or a treatment of isotonic saline. The primary outcome was "pain on walking" as measured by VAS.
