Synopsis
110 patients with full thickness rotator cuff tears were randomized to arthroscopic repair, using either metal or biodegradable suture anchors. The use of metal suture in this repair resulted in slightly better DASH and Constant scores at two year follow-up; however, these values did not reach significance.
