Synopsis
One hundred sixteen patients with femoroacetabular impingement were randomized to room-temperature irrigation (n=60) or warmed irrigation at 36–38 °C (n=56). The primary outcome was intraoperative hypothermia (<36 °C) detected by either rectal probe or temporal thermometer.
