Synopsis
Four hundred thirty-two patients with knee osteoarthritis were randomized to receive intra-articular PRGF injections (n=250) or hyaluronic acid injections (n=182). The primary outcome of interest was the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC), including its subscales for pain, stiffness, and function.
