Synopsis
Ninety-three patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty were randomized to receive either preoperative video-based opioid counseling (n=50) or no such intervention (n=43). The primary outcome of interest was postoperative opioid consumption in morphine milligram equivalents (MMEs).
