Synopsis
Forty patients with plantar fasciitis were randomized to receive either a cassava wax bath (n=20) or a paraffin wax bath (n=20). The primary outcome of interest was pain intensity. Secondary outcomes of interest included pressure pain threshold, pain frequency, foot and ankle ability measure, and ankle dorsiflexion range of motion.
