Synopsis
Eighty patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty were randomized to receive either liposomal bupivacaine (n=40) or conventional bupivacaine (n=40) in adductor canal blocks. The primary outcome of interest was pain scores within 72 hours postoperatively. Secondary outcomes included opioid consumption and length of hospital stay.
