Synopsis
Forty patients with knee osteoarthritis were randomized to receive either kinesiology taping with facilitation (n=20) or placebo taping with no tension (n=20). The primary outcome of interest was muscle activation of the rectus femoris. Secondary outcomes of interest included functionality (Timed Up and Go Test (TUG), Five Times Sit-to-Stand Test (5TSTS)) and proprioception (joint position sense)....
