Synopsis

Fifty-nine patients with unilateral multiple rib fractures were randomized to receive either ultrasound-guided serratus anterior plane block (SAPB) with continuous local anaesthetic infusion (n=30) or thoracic epidural analgesia (EA) (n=29).
