Synopsis
Four hundred thirty-nine patients with femoral neck fractures (114 displaced and 325 nondisplaced) were randomized to receive either the Hansson Pinloc system (n=228) or the Hansson Pin System (n=211). The primary outcome was failure, defined as early displacement, nonunion, symptomatic avascular necrosis, or deep infection, assessed over two years.
