60 patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty (TKA) for knee osteoarthritis (OA) were randomized to undergo TKA using either a microelectromechanical navigation system for femoral intramedullary alignment (MEMS-FEAO; n=30) or conventional femoral intramedullary alignment osteotomy (FIAO; n=30).
