60-patients between the age of 65-and-75 years with mild hypertension who were undergoing elective lower limb orthopedic surgery under general anesthesia were randomized to receive either remimazolam besylate at 0.2 mg/kg (Group R) (n = 30) or propofol at 1.5 mg/kg (Group P) (n = 30).
