Four RCTs with a total of 224 patients who underwent an arthroscopic rotator cuff repair were included in this systematic review and meta-analysis comparing abduction bracing and sling immobilization. The outcomes of interest included Constant-Murley Scores (CMS), pain on a Visual Analog Scale (VAS), and re-tear rate.
