In this meta-analysis, six randomized controlled trials compared duloxetine against placebo in patients undergoing primary total knee arthroplasty (TKA). Outcomes of interest were pain measured on a Visual Analog Scale (VAS) at rest and with movement, equivalent morphine consumption, length of stay, and adverse events.
